I weighed myself this morning and I was the same, but I definitely wasn’t on my eating game this week getting ready for this trip. Stress eating is probably the most appropriate term. That’s ok….I didn’t gain.
I will be in Jamaica for the next week teaching aerobics twice a day and turning 40 on Friday! My goal (and hopefully an easy one) is not to gain while on vacation. I still have some more work to do, but I am pleased with my progress so far. I know I will be completely refocused when I get back.

Kelly is awesome…as evidenced merely by the fact I told her to truly take a vacation. This meant, don’t stress about working out or fretting with a blog until she returns, from what I believe will be a glorious trip, and what happens…she sends me a quick blog from her phone while in the airport and will be teaching group training classes in Jamaica!!
My best advice to Kelly was to just ‘try to maintain’ while she’s enjoying the island. Vacations are a break from reality; she deserves to enjoy that break! I still shake my head over her ‘scale addiction.’ Hopefully she won’t be running into the workout facility every few hours to step on one!
However, I am pleased she was assertive enough to ask the resort to teach classes. I just wonder if having to teach 2 classes daily is really a vacation, lol. Kelly!? As long as she doesn’t tire herself and eats enough food for recovery, I know that teaching the classes, given her Type-A personality, is good for her!
I can’t wait to hear all about her trip, and what I predict will be…more progress!
