This week’s blog is all about breaking old mind sets and overcoming obstacles! I was given my treadmill & weight lifting workout this week by my "fairy godmother" trainer, Angela. Since I am "cardio queen" of the world I figured my cardio workout would be no sweat (boy was I wrong...LOL). Then, on top of that, I had to make things more difficult on myself by running to get the phone at work and completely wiping out!! When I consult with new clients, a recurring theme I often find is that clients are eating too infrequently and consume MUCH more sugar than they should. Eating too infrequently is quite obvious, but the sugars are often hidden, and most people have no idea how much sugar they consume on a daily basis. Americans are addicted to sugar. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, many of us have love on our minds. What is love anyway? We all want it. We all look for it. Where is it? We assume that when we “find” love, we’ll finally be happy. But even when we find someone to be in a relationship with, as we all know, this does not mean we are happy all the time. So then what? You've heard the expression "A happy wife equals a happy life", right? Well what about "A happy wife equals a happy heart"? Believe it or not, but they ARE related.
