Our mission at eFitFamily.com is simple…

“To stamp out environmental and lifestyle disease for our children’s generation.”

Our method is to provide information, and inspiration to everyday families and help you live healthier every day. We are not focused on drastic transformational changes that can sometimes seem overwhelming and unrealistic. Instead, we are focused on providing simple and easy step by step changes, that will greatly benefit your health and result in long lifetime changes.

We will function very much like an online magazine. Each month our site will be updated and feature new content. Make sure you sign up for our newsletter (and get a chance to win an iPod shuffle) so that you can be notified when new content is up.

This month we want to introduce you to our eFitFamily.com team so you can learn more about each of us, and why we are so passionate about helping your family live the best life possible. Our eFitFamily Blog Talk Radio Show has also launched with some great interviews featuring some of our contributors. Over the next few weeks and months we will be featuring some very special guests you wont want to miss.

Check out our eFitFamily.com campaign – ‘Family Play 365’.  The eFitFamily.com team encourages and challenges you to play as a family for 30 minutes each and everyday. Exercise can seem like a chore for many of us, but we all like to play. So, get your family together and have some fun! Let us know how you play.

Last but not least, we’d love to hear from you! Tell us how you like eFitFamily.com. What would you like to see on the site? What questions regarding health and fitness do you have? How can we best help you and your family live the healthy lives you all deserve?

  1. Throughout my adolescent years and an adult life where exercise was a regular part of my daily routine I enjoyed all the benefits a regimen of exercise and participation in athletics can provide … excellent health, endurance, a good self image, and more than my share of successes in the sports of my choice on both the National and State levels. I turned 40 just 3 lbs. heavier than the day I graduated high school. At age 42 I made the decision to stop competing in athletics and broke my habit of exercising regularly while rationalizing that … “I’ve been exercising for 30 years … that oughta be enough” … now at age 52 I’ve realized that was A BAD DECISION! My weight, health, and self image have been dealt a severe blow and the only way to set things right is to recommit myself to an active lifestyle once more! And I plan on dragging my family in with me.

This website/ezine seems like just what I needed at just the right time! I look forward to reading it regularly!

    • Hi Rick! Great post. Regular physical activity certainly needs to be part of our every day lifestyles for the long term. Fitness is a journey – not a destination to be reached and ended. I’m so glad to hear you are jumping back into an active lifestyle. Good on you for being such a good role model for your family!! That’s awesome. Please keep us updated on your journey :-)
